The staff and residents of Castle Farm Retirement Home, our elderly care home in Poole, held an afternoon tea to raise money for charity last month and the event was an overwhelming success.

The residents of Castle Farm Retirement Home enjoyed a lovely trip to Holme for Gardens in Wareham recently. This gorgeous garden centre also features stunning landscaped gardens, a wonderful farm shop and a fantastic cafe which is the perfect place to relax with a drink and a bite to eat.

There were some very special birthday celebrations at Castle Farm recently for two very special ladies. The staff and fellow residents had a great time commemorating Jean turning 90 and Betty hitting the incredible age of 98!

July saw a special birthday celebration at Castle Farm Retirement Home as our lovely resident Ruth turned 92 – although we’re sure you’ll agree she is looking fantastic and could quite easily pass for someone half her age!

Castle Farm Retirement Home had the privilege of celebrating a very special birthday this month as our lovely resident Margaret turned 100 years old! It is an incredible milestone and everybody at our care home in Lytchett Matravers was so excited to celebrate Margaret’s day with her.

The staff at Castle Farm Retirement Home, our care home in Lytchett Matravers, had a lot of fun recently dressing up and unleashing their inner elf for a really fantastic cause. Elf Day is an annual event during which participants are encouraged to dress up as an elf and enjoy some festive activities while raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Castle Farm Retirement Home recently said a very emotional goodbye to our manager Dawn. After 25 years as a vital part of the Royal Bay family, it was finally time for her to enjoy her well-earned retirement.

Castle Farm Retirement Home, our care home in Lytchett Matravers, recently had the pleasure of welcoming a hugely talented ukulele band to perform for the residents. They put on a fantastic show featuring their versions of some famous hits and everybody had a great time getting to sing along to their favourite songs!
