We were thrilled to host our much-anticipated Castle Farm Care Home annual summer BBQ recently, a day filled with sunshine, laughter, and incredible food. Our residents were joined by their families and friends, framing the day with warm camaraderie, lively conversations, and the magical unison that only shared meals can bring.

Under bright blue skies and a shimmering sun, our residents and their loved ones feasted on a delightful array of grilled treats, including corn on the cob, seasoned burgers, and succulent sausages, coupled with frosty drinks and fresh, vibrant salads.

The food set the mood, but it was the enchanting melody that truly coloured the day. The entertainment was led by the talented Steve Linn, a local entertainer known for his brilliant interpretations of popular Rock n Roll, Soul, Jazz, and Crooner songs. The air danced with familiar tunes, and these musical delights ended up being the perfect accompaniment to our feast.

Steve’s dynamic performance lit up the day, stirring foot-tapping rhythms and plenty of crowd participation. The atmosphere sparked into life as the residents, along with their friends and families, sang along with the classic songs. Fortunately, the weather behaved itself and offered a lovely sun-drenched afternoon that enhanced the BBQ experience. The warm rays ignited a refreshing backdrop for the residents and guests to unwind, chat, and enjoy their day.

Our annual BBQ is always a fantastic event and this year was no different. With laughter, music, mouth-watering food and plenty of drinks it was a perfect day in the summer sun.
