The staff and residents of Castle Farm Retirement Home, our elderly care home in Poole, held an afternoon tea to raise money for charity last month and the event was an overwhelming success. There were some fantastic raffle prizes up for grabs, as well as a whole host of absolutely delicious cakes available!

Thanks to the generosity and support of so many families and friends, we managed to raise an incredible £240!! This money will be donated to Breast Cancer Now, an excellent charity that does such important work for a fantastic cause. Breast cancer is such a devastating illness that affects a massive number of people, so our staff and residents were very passionate about raising funds that will go towards the research and care Breast Cancer Now carry out.

A huge thank you to everybody who got involved by donating, baking cakes and buying raffle tickets, the day wouldn’t have been such a huge success without you. And a special thank you to Jackie, our Activities Coordinator, who arranged the whole event and did such a fantastic job!
