July saw a special birthday celebration at Castle Farm Retirement Home as our lovely resident Ruth turned 92 – although we’re sure you’ll agree she is looking fantastic and could quite easily pass for someone half her age!
Ruth was treated to a delicious birthday cake to commemorate her day and her fellow residents were of course more than happy to help her eat it!
The day was made even more special as students from a local Lytchett Matravers primary school popped by to pay a visit. The children were amazing as they put on a lovely musical performance that everybody at our rest home in Poole absolutely loved.
Afterwards, they stayed to chat with the residents as they all enjoyed swapping stories and sharing some tasty snacks!
