The residents of Castle Farm Retirement Home enjoyed a lovely trip to Holme for Gardens in Wareham recently. This gorgeous garden centre also features stunning landscaped gardens, a wonderful farm shop and a fantastic cafe which is the perfect place to relax with a drink and a bite to eat.

Fortunately, the sun was shining and the weather remained excellent all day allowing everybody to explore the gardens and truly make the most of it. It was such a fun day out for all, and a great opportunity to enjoy the warm weather before summer begins to draw to a close.

Everything at Holme for Gardens was excellent and the residents had an amazing day, but the highlights were definitely the pond, with its massive koi inhabitants, and the delicious cakes in the cafe – as the clean plates all round will corroborate! It will be a popular request for the next day out for sure!
