Welcome to Castle Farm Retirement Home
Located in the village of Lytchett Matravers, near Poole, Castle Farm was part of the Great Farm which was divided into smaller units at the time of the Enclosures Act. The oldest part of the farmhouse dates from the 18th century and the farm was in continual agricultural use until the 1980s.
The Retirement Home is on the edge of the village, with access to the local GP surgery, library, village store and post office. Residents enjoy the peace, tranquility and beauty of the unspoilt Dorset countryside whilst also benefitting from the fresh, clean country air.
Castle Farm is a friendly, professionally run care home for elderly residents. We have a mix of residents, some requiring high dependency and we also offer respite care. Most of our residents come from or have family in the surrounding areas of Poole, Wimborne, Bournemouth, Swanage or Blandford.
