Last week, the residents and staff at Castle Farm Retirement Home, our residential care home in Poole, enjoyed a very special occasion as they held a baby shower for a member of the Castle Farm team, the lovely Gemma. With her baby girl due next month it was the perfect time to throw a party in Gemma’s honour to celebrate her upcoming arrival.

Everybody got involved in some fun games, including having to guess the circumference of Gemma’s baby bump and pass the parcel, with each one containing a little item for the baby.

After the fun and games, Gemma was presented with a whole load of fantastic gifts for both her and the baby. From knitted clothing and cuddly toys to an amazing playmat and more, Gemma was overwhelmed and so thankful for the huge range of gifts she received from everybody.

We send her all of our love as she starts her maternity leave and we’re all so excited to meet her daughter soon!
