The residents of Castle Farm Retirement Home, our care home in Lytchett Matravers, have been super busy recently enjoying a number of fantastic activities. The Castle Farm team is excellent at ensuring there is a wide range of activities and events on a regular basis, with a bit of something for everyone to get involved with.
Last month, to commemorate the most romantic day of the year, the residents got creative and made some lovely Valentine’s Day gifts. These impressive handmade love hearts looked amazing and we’re sure anybody lucky enough to receive one most definitely appreciated the thoughtful gift!
Next up was an activity to get hearts pumping and pulses racing – a fitness class! It wasn’t quite on the level of the workouts Mr Motivator was famed for, but the residents had a great time getting active and working up a bit of a sweat.
These physical exertions were followed up with a well-deserved sweet treat as homemade chocolate truffles were on the menu. The residents got to put their culinary talents on display when making these delicious delicacies, before they were all devoured in record time!
