The staff at Castle Farm Retirement Home, our care home in Lytchett Matravers, had a lot of fun recently dressing up and unleashing their inner elf for a really fantastic cause. Elf Day is an annual event during which participants are encouraged to dress up as an elf and enjoy some festive activities while raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. Offering valuable support to those living with dementia, the Alzheimer’s Society does amazing work and it is a cause that is close to the heart of many of our staff and residents, so everybody was keen to get involved!
As you can see from the photos below there were certainly no half measures and the team made an incredible effort to look the part! The residents loved seeing the place swarming with elves and it brought some real festive cheer to Castle Farm. We’re already looking forward to getting dressed up for Elf Day 2022!
