Castle Farm Retirement Home, our care home in Lytchett Matravers, recently had the pleasure of welcoming a hugely talented ukulele band to perform for the residents. They put on a fantastic show featuring their versions of some famous hits and everybody had a great time getting to sing along to their favourite songs!

The weather was incredible, with the sun beaming down and not a cloud in sight, although plenty of shade was made available to allow the residents and band the opportunity to enjoy the weather without being cooked alive!

To add to the occasion it was also a very special day for the lovely Linda, who was celebrating her birthday. As well as enjoying the music Linda got to blow out the candles on her birthday cake before being treated to a delicious cream tea in the beautiful sunshine.

Linda and her fellow residents had such a fantastic day celebrating, eating birthday cake, enjoying the music and making the most of the amazing weather!
